McCain Responds to Obama's Remarks

Today at the NRA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, John McCain responded to the remarks Barack Obama made about him and his national security policies at an event in Watertown, South Dakota.

McCain: "Leads"

This new McCain ad says that while Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are fighting, McCain is fighting for Americans by taking on wasteful spending and proposing new ideas for health care.

Obama Responds to Bush's Appeasement Comments

Today in Watertown, South Dakota, Barack Obama responded to comments about appeasement made by President Bush in the Israeli Knesset yesterday. He linked John McCain to Bush, saying that McCain "embraced" the comments in a conference call with bloggers.

Clinton - "What's Right," "Right Track," and "Partner"

This morning, the Clinton campaign debuted new ads for Tuesday's primaries in Oregon and Kentucky.

"What's Right" is for Oregon and is about Clinton's record in Washington. It features a quick hit on how Clinton voted against the Bush energy bill and fought to keep natural gas plants off of Oregon's coast.


"Right Track" and "Partner" are for Kentucky. "Right Track" says that Clinton will close the loopholes that allows executives to pay a smaller income percentage than the working class.


"Partner" is about solutions and her belief that it's time the middle class that will have a president that will stand up for you."


Fred Thompson Returns to TV

This morning, Fred Thompson reappeared on television as he talked on "Fox and Friends" about what he's doing now and the controversy about Bush's comments in the Knesset.

RNC: "Carter-Obama Taxes" Web Ad

The Republican National Committee has released this ad that takes on Barack Obama for opposing consumer relief at the pump. The ad compares his windfall tax proposal to Jimmy Carter's and reminds voters that domestic production went down and reliance on foreign sources went up.
