MSNBC: While some immigration reform has passed in the Senate, top Republicans are predicting that comprehensive reform in the House will fizzle. Rep. Raul Labrador (R-Idaho) joins NOW’s Alex Wagner from Capitol Hill and Global Strategy Group’s Bill Burton, New York Magazine’s Jonathan Chait, and Bob Herbert, Senior Fellow at Demos join to discuss in the studio.
Rep. Labrador staunchly defended the Republican party on Wednesday, arguing that Democrats are the ones who should bear the blame if immigration reform fails.
"Chuck Schumer said yesterday that any bill without a path to citizenship is dead in the Senate. If Chuck Schumer is not going to accept anything then he’s the one who is killing immigration reform," Rep. Labrador said.
Labrador and Alex Wagner got in a heated argument over minority outreach from the GOP.
