“If Hillary Clinton were a man…”
The odor of arrogance, sexism, chauvinism, condescension and overall contempt was inescapable. Even “Johnny Cool” Obama was telling Clinton she could stay in the race so long as she didn’t tarnish his record, in other words as long as she didn’t really campaign against him. The little woman was welcome to be a little woman, n...

Barack Obama was not only dramatically defeated last night in West Virginia, but the margins humiliate his now famous claims of National electability. Clinton’s victory by 41 percentile points (winning 67% to Obama’s 26%) is quite historic, specially when you consider that she was outspent by Obama, 2 to 1. Hillary Clinton also w...

All this is beside the point because, luckily, there is a brilliant alternative to Hillary for VP, and that is Senator Jim Webb of Virginia. Webb is a conservative Democrat and citizen-soldier who will bring blue chip political and military experience, along with a dose of white, working class authenticity to the ticket.
